Meet Pastors Brian & Christal Howell
Pastors Brian and Christal Howell are the Lead Pastors of River Flow Church. Together, they are passionate about creating a church where people can encounter the presence of God, grow in their faith, discover their purpose, and make a lasting impact for the Kingdom.
Their journey combines years of leadership in both ministry and the marketplace. Brian is a graduate of Morgan State University and the University of Maryland. Christal is a graduate of Temple University and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Christian Leadership at Liberty University. Together, they have led in corporate, government, business, and ministry settings, bringing practical wisdom and a heart for people into every area of leadership.
Brian carries a shepherd’s heart with a passion for discipleship, leadership development, and helping people grow into all God has called them to be. He has a strong calling to disciple and develop men, helping them move beyond silence and isolation into authentic community, spiritual maturity, and confident, Christ-centered leadership.
Christal has been preaching and teaching the Word since 2018 and is known for communicating biblical truth with authenticity, prophetic insight, and practical application that inspires lasting transformation.
In addition to ministry, Brian and Christal are entrepreneurs who are passionate about advancing the Kingdom of God both inside and outside the walls of the church. They believe every sphere of influence is an opportunity to reflect Christ, serve others with excellence, and make an eternal impact.
Married for over a decade, they are the proud parents of three sons, Noble, Miles, and Roman.
Their heart is to lead people into the presence of God and equip them to impact the world for Christ.
